Accomplishments

  • Had an opportunity to attend a 14-day training programme for Civic Leaders and Local Authority Officers which was prepared by the Chalimbana Local Government Training Institute in Collaboration with the Zambia Public Procurement Authority and the Local Government Service commission.
  • Participated in the Electronic Government Procurement (E-GP) System Training that was conducted by ZPPA at Shebourne Hotel in 2021.
  • Had an opportunity to attend the budget hearing meetings which allowed me to have a broader understanding on the way other government institutions operated, raised and spent their resources.
  • Was part of the Logistics subcommittee for the North Western Expo in Solwezi Zambia.
  • Actively participated in the March,2017 stock take that gave me a different feel of the stock take process because this was a retail shop, therefore there were many different products to count and it also involved counting in the three different shops and the warehouse as well.
