Accomplishments

  • Successful implementation of the network infrastructure environments at the two internationally funded projects. At the MSDP, a 5-year project funded by the European Union, I from the scratch designed an Active Directory Microsoft Windows Server domain infrastructure for the Ministry of Mines. I set up Local Area Networks in the identified government institutions as well as Wi-Fi networks to facilitate effective collaboration and sharing of vital information.
  • At the Millennium Challenge Account project, a USAID funded project, I had a successful rollout of a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 domain infrastructure network, with LAN and Wi-Fi networks for the Ministry of Home affairs.

  • At UNICEF Zambia, I have overseen successful migrations of various platforms. I was selected to be part of a group to implement the Enterprise Content Management platform on SharePoint Online. I played a significant role in providing capacity building to staff and ensured that users adopted the system with fewer problems. In addition, I have spearheaded the migration of the legacy network infrastructures along the way to having the office being part of the UNICEF global CloudOne network.
  • Achieved improved customer satisfaction by ensuring that the submitted IT cases were resolved timely as defined by the SLAs in the case management system. To demonstrate this, I developed a dashboard that reported SLAs breached vs SLAs achieved. This report was shared with senior management as well as All Staff meetings where as ICT Team we ensured the achieved SLAs were above 95% and consequently earned user trust and accountability.
