COMPETENCY AND ACHIEVEMENTS Successfully completed a three-year training in Metal Fabrication sponsored by the then Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines Limited(ZCCM) and was awarded a craft Certificate Good command of Pronto navigation and an official language being English. Underwent short course in Metal types identifications, Welding Positions, Processes and applications, electrodes and welding wires identification. Handling and operating workshop equipment and machinery such as Rollers, Guillotine, Plasma cutting, Benders and Over Head Cranes. Excellent ability to interpret complex fabrication drawings and pattern development. Experienced in fabrication, maintenance and rehabilitation of Tanks, Segmental back bends Reducers, Transformers, Chutes, Steel structure, Hoppers, platforms, Stair cases, Trommel Screens, Crushers, Vibrator screens. Feed and Discharge Chutes, skirt boards, launders, liners, various types of pipes work such as Tee, Swept Tee and Y- Pieces of equal and unequal diameters. In house trained and conversant with Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG), Oxy-acetylene/Propane handling and Cutting, Carbon Gouging and MMAW (Stick Welding), Tungsten Inert Gas Welding(TIG) Basic Rigging and Tele Handler operations Capable of executing functions to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and trade standards and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in the work area both during and after completing a job/task.
