  - Ensuring monthly invoicing for the contract is undertaken.
  - Ensuring WIP jobs are routinely monitored, all associated costs are accurate, and jobs closed out in a timely manner.
  - Purchasing and procurement is undertaken in accordance with requirements.
• Manage the administration of all relevant contract files at site.
• Ensure that all KPI’s established for the contract are met.
• Working with the Rock Tools Demand Planner to ensure the preparation of monthly stock forecasts are submitted and also providing accurate and up to date information.
• Working with the Sales Area Demand Planner in ensuring re-order points (ROP) are established and are reviewed as required.
• Working with the relevant contract representatives in ensuring that reporting requirements are prepared and submitted to customer representatives in a timely manner. (e.g. weekly, monthly as required by contract)
• Participating in monthly review meetings with customer representatives.
• Delivering Customer and internal presentations as required.
• Assisting in the preparation of tenders and product quotations relating to the rock tools contract business, when required. People Management and Leadership
• Establishing and developing relationships and networks across the Sandvik business to assist in achieving objectives.
• Mentoring and developing personnel operating within the Rock Tools Contract business with the objective to encourage and facilitate future career advancement within Sandvik, wherever possible.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Values, policies and procedures.

Financials

• Working to ensure contract budget margins and targets are achieved.
• Ensuring correct Invoicing is undertaken on time.

Customer Service

• Working closely with the Company Contract Representatives in ensuring that the Customer receives the highest level of service and responsiveness.
• Ensuring that products are delivered in a timely, professional manner as well as meeting the customer needs for quality and value for money.
• Providing feedback to the Customer to enable improvements to the contract.

Technical Expertise

• Working with the contract team to assist in the most appropriate product selection.
• Regularly review rock tool product usage data and identify any opportunities for improvements.
• Identifying and develop training requirements at site, including product related training to assist our rock tool crews (and customers) to better understand the best use of Sandvik drilling consumables.
• Analyzing tool product failures correctly through use of the Data Mining Tool (ADMT).
• Offering on-the-job technical training to Sandvik contract personnel
• Cultivating positive rapport with fellow employees to boost company morale and promote employee retention.
• Evaluating employee performance and conveyed constructive feedback to improve skills.
• Supervising staff of 12 personnel by implementing company policies, protocols, work rules and disciplinary action.

• Carrying out day to day customer visitations to establish smooth running of business between customer and supply company (Sandvik)

• Carrying out trials on new products sent by factory for improved performance and reliability. Giving feed-back to factory with recommendations in form of trial reports.

• Offering day to day advise to drilling operators on good drilling practices.
• Advising customer on the appropriate products to use and machine parameters for specific rock formations, through routine machine inspections.
• Monitoring of tool performance on the ground and checking machine parameters as well as operator drilling practices.
• Ensuring sales are generated, at the same time help reduce unnecessary costs for the customer(s).

• Carried out day to day supervision of workshop planned services and major breakdowns (component change outs).
• Carried out pre-service inspection of surface rigs (Drilltech D45KS, D25KS, and DR560 (Cubex).
• Carried out root cause analysis on Hydraulic, Mechanical and Electrical problems on all equipment under my care (D45KS, D25KS and DR560)
• Ensuring that all work on planned maintenance are completed accordingly and on time.
• Ensuring that the team under my care complies with EHS

• Preventive Maintenance of surface mine drill rigs (D45KS Drilltech, DP1500 Pantera and DR560 Cubex)
• Repaired faults on Surface drills (Electrical/mechanical Faults) (Drilltech D45KS, Pantera DP 1500 and Cubex DR560) at Lumwana Mine site owned by Barrick Mining.
• Carried out Fault finding on surface drills (Drilltech D45KS, DP Pantera 1500 and Cubex DR 560).
• Carried out planned maintenance pre-service inspections
• Rebuilt components such as gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders, stators, pumps, final drives, Rotary Head and Top Drives.
• Adhered to all workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
