KANSANSHI SULPHIDE 3 (S3) PROCESS PLANT EXPANSION

  • Commissioned 33kV substation equipment which includes vacuum/SF6 circuit breakers, measuring transformers and protection relays.
  • Commissioned 33kV substation auxiliaries which include fire system, lighting, socket outlets, battery banks, process control cubicles, Un-interrupted power supplies and more.
  • Commissioned 6.6kV substations for various parts of process which include crushing, conveyor transfer system, mills, flotation, thickeners and water booster areas with auxiliaries.
  • Commissioned 33kV/6.6kV/0.525kV power transformers feeding and taking off from these substations.
  • Commissioned motor control centers in substations which consist of direct-online with SIMOCODEs and variable speed drive starters.
  • Commissioned motors used in the areas mentioned above.

KANSANSHI SMELTER EXPANSION

  • Commissioned 6.6kV extension substation for oxygen plant expansion (switchboard relays, VTs, CTs, power transformers and auxiliaries).
  • Commissioned two main air compressor motors (5475kW) with autotransformer (6300kVA) starters for oxygen plant expansion.
  • Commissioned air blowers, fans and pumps for new oxygen cold box.
  • Commissioned four condensate pump stations for sulfide gas transfer pipe.
  • Commissioned multiple motor control centers, integrating DOL (SIMOCODE), variable speed drives (LV and MV), and soft starters for optimized equipment performance.

KANSANSHI ACID PLANT 5 UPGRADE PROJECT

  • Commissioned 6.6kV substation equipment (Relays, measuring and power transformers and MCC) and auxiliaries (fire system, lighting, battery banks, UPS, sockets and related systems).
  • Commissioned main air compressor, air blowers, water and oil pumps for various systems.
  • Commissioned a lot of VSDs (ABB, Danfoss and siemens) and soft starters (siemens).
