- Currently working for FQM TRIDENT LIMITED.
- Below are the tasks and roles currently doing.
- Maintain high standard of house keeping in the work area both during and after completing a job task.
- Review of maintenance tasks and procedures including JSA's (Job Safety Analysis) and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Changing out of Ground Engaging Tools (GET's) and carrying out thoroughly inspections on Earth moving Equipments.
- Fabrication and installation of structural components.
- Fully responsible for MIG welding,Oxy-Acetylene cutting and Manual Metal Arc Welding.
- Repairing buckets,boom stick's and other structural repair on Shovels excavator and dozer blades.
- Over haul of Reclaim Tunnel Apron Feeders.
- Changing out Flight Pans of the feeders and replaced them with new ones.
- Fabrication of Reducer Pipes,Y-Pieces and lobster back bends for the processing plant, during maintenance and shutdowns.
- Worked with Mechanical Fitters to install,High Pressure pumps,lube filters,Sample Forwarding pumps, processing water strainers and Screen change out.
- Handling of break downs as quick as possible,to make an equipment available for production.

- Worked with ZAFECK LIMITED as a Boiler Maker/Lagger.
- Below are tasks and roles:
- Lagging of the conventor and heat exchanger.
- Cladding of the acid plant 3 Conventor and heat exchanger.
- Fabricated a lobster back bend for the trombone cooler duct.
- Welded cracks on a heat exchanger using low hydrogen electrodes.
- Welded steam pipes using Tungsten Inert Gas welding.

LAFARGE CEMENT ZAMBIA (PROSCOPE COMPANY)
09.2012 - 10.2012
- Worked for Lafarge Cement Zambia Under PROSCOPE COMPANY as an artisan Boiler Maker during the shutdown of RAW Mill 2 and kiln2.
- Below are the major responsibilities and tasks I did:
- Carried out group and individual risk assessment on each task assigned.
- Carried out full isolation procedures i.e Lock Out Tag Out and Try Out (LOTOTO)
- Filled in the confined space and Hot Work permit sheet when carrying out operations involving open flames or producing heat or Sparks.
- Removed worn - out lifter liners on Raw Mill 2 drying chambers and replaced them with good Ones.
- Fabricated a center screen for the Raw Mill 2.
- Worked with Mechanical Fitters to remove the bearings and the shaft on the sprocket of the bucket elevator and laminated chain.
- Fabricated and welded lifter liners using low hydrogen electrodes.
- In charge of the Blow Torch to heat the bearing in order to remove and replace them with good Ones.

- In charge of the rolling machine in the work shop.Rolling plates ranging from 2mm-20mm thick in mild steel and stainless steel.
- Fabricated a 500000 litres capacity tank for Guorock Company.
- Fabricated a Sulfur Hopper for Mbwana Mkubwa mine Acid plant.
- Rehabilitated under ground tanks for lake Petroleum Filling station.
- Fabricated roof trusses for kalumbila Sub stations.
Boiler Maker (Student Technician Northern Technical College)
First Quantum Minerals (Bwana Mkubwa Mine) Ndola
01.2010 - 08.2010
- Joined Bwana Mkubwa Mine as a Student Technician and worked both in the copper processing plant and Acid plants.
- Below are the major tasks and roles I did:
- Carried out risk assessment on each task assigned to me.
- Carried out full isolation procedures.
- Removed worn out chute liners and replaced them with good Ones.
- Worked with Mechanical Fitters to reline the Semi Auto Genius Grinding Mill (SAG).
