Celia Tusiime is a highly experienced professional with extensive expertise in public health management, monitoring and evaluation, and emergency programming spanning over 20 years. Philips Foundation Partnership: Provided implementation oversight for the Maker Innovation Project, aimed at accelerating innovation in health-promoting devices for maternal, newborn, and child health in low-resource settings implemented by UNICEF, Kenya.
TOMS Partnership: Executed the TOMS partnership project designed to encourage mothers to deliver at health facilities and increase immunization rates for children by providing a pair of shoes for each immunized child and each mother who delivers at a health facility. Successfully secured USD 11 million through strategic private sector partnerships, implemented by MSH in Uganda.

Managed subcontracts with the Health Information Systems Program-South Africa and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, to support specific project interventions. Managed relationships with stakeholders, including USAID, USG Presidential Malaria Initiative, Ministry of Health, Zambia National Public Health Institute and National Malaria Elimination Council. Managed the delivery of 96% of USAID contractual deliverables, including the HMIS Nursing Curriculum, Zambia Interoperability Architectural Framework, Zambia Health Information Systems Strategy, Digital Health Strategy, Guidelines for Improved Health System Performance, and Zambia Health Facility Registry among others. All strategies were successfully launched and published on the Ministry of Health website.
