
Chansa is a highly motivated professional with a record for high achievement in the private, public and civil society sectors. He has led and coordinated demand driven development initiatives involving communities, Community Based Organizations, Faith based Organizations, youths, the disabled and other interest groups. He has contributed to increased access to health services for marginalized groups, and entrepreneurship development. Chansa has led institutional performance improvement initiatives resulting in increased agency effectiveness, efficiency and donor support. His work has ranged from providing management and technical support to simple and remote community based projects to complex thematic coalition groups both in urban and rural settings. Chansa has worked in the UN system and, while working in the public and civil society, he has successfully managed several capacity building projects supported by a number of donors who include PEPFAR, USAID, UNAIDS, World Bank, UNICEF, EU and the UNDP and Global Fund .While most of his experience has been with the Community Based Organizations, NGOs and line ministries in the fight against HIV/AIDS, he has had significant experience with the private sector.
