A highly accomplished Zambian STEM education leader with over two decades of experience spanning classroom teaching, national physics training, regional STEM capacity building coordination and international exchange. Senior Education Officer at the Directorate of National Science Centre, published researcher, textbook author, and Zambia's Strengthening Mathematics and Science Education in Africa (SMASE-Africa) focal point person committed to transforming education
i) Manages and coordinates research, innovation, curriculum support, and training support, along with the design, production, and marketing of science and technology teaching and learning materials for schools.
ii) . Managing staff and resources of the department to ensure the attainment of STEM education objectives.
iii) Coordinating the preparation of annual work plans and budgets for STEM activities, ensuring timely submission to the Directorate of Planning and alignment with national priorities.
iv) Coordinating the development of monitoring and evaluation programmes to continuously review and improve in-service teacher training delivery systems across Zambia.
v) Providing strategic linkages across the Training and Curriculum Support, Research and Innovations, and Production and Maintenance sections ensuring these functions operate in a coordinated and mutually reinforcing manner.
