Job Summery

My work supports contemporary artists and underprivileged children / young adults through collection and selling of artworks, holding of exhibitions, running of community workshops and mobilizing of funds.

Responsibilities

• I manage and supervise children and youth-based projects like exhibitions and workshops.
• I collaborate with human resources to develop comprehensive employee support systems and addressing workplace grievances and concerns.
• I streamline processes and increase efficiency in policy development, implementation, and evaluation.
• I facilitate capacity-building workshops to empower vulnerable young adults with craftsmen skills and knowledge of available resources.
• I conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends, assess risks, and evaluate potential impacts of policies.
• I manage grant applications that fund vital community projects.
• I assist in the successful completion of construction projects by providing essential on-site support and labor.

Achievements:

• I successfully facilitated the building of Chibelo Primary School wall fence.
• I have run over 4 exhibitions in which sales have been over $100,000.
• Five (5) of our young artists became independent due to my successful running of exhibitions and fundraising's.
• I successfully reduced disputes within the organization and among stakeholders by 85% through quick address of grievances.
• I developed and boosted marketing strategies that increase gallery visibility, attendance and increased online sales by 50%.
• I increased our sponsorship coffers to sustain our university students at least 2 years.
• I attained full collaboration with community restaurants and Tribal Textiles in recycling of wine bottles into affordable chandelier's for sale.

My work focused on community development in relation to water hygiene, sensitization's and assisting the community in collecting of land tenure documentation in an affordable, accessible and sustainable way

Key Responsibilities:

• I registered properties in Katondo Community.
• I collected and entered data.
• I formed Area Association and Ward Development Committees.
• I organized and chaired market committee meetings.
• I sensitized the community on importance of land and water hygiene.

Achievements:

• I registered over 240 homes in Katondo Site and Service enabling residents to obtain land records.
• I reached the target goal for data entry records needed for planning department to formulate area mappings.
• I formed four (4) Area Associations in Kang'omba, Makululu and Mutwewansofu wards respectively.

My work focused on running community sensitization's and awareness programs for both children and adults of Kembe Township in Chibombo District, Zambia.

Key Responsibilities:

• I enhanced community awareness about HIV by organizing outreach programs and participating in local events.
• I organized and filed the sponsorship program data.
• Conducted thorough assessments of client needs, identifying appropriate resources and referrals for maximum support.
• I sensitized children and women on child Abuse and Gender Based Violence.
• I sensitized the community at large on the importance of borehole care.
• I organized and chaired community meetings on the importance of education for children.
• I sensitized the community on the disadvantages of teenage pregnancies and early marriages.
• I sensitized the youths and women on abstinence and family planning.

Achievements:

• I improved patient understanding of HIV prevention methods by providing tailored counseling sessions and informational materials.
• Over 70% unmarried youths and 75% parents gave positive feedback on the lessons against early marriages and teenage pregnancies.
• I saw an improvement and order towards sanitation and care towards community boreholes.
• I managed to imbue the urge for education and diversification of careers in the local children.
• The children were able to distinguish the difference between punishment and child abuse at the end of my lessons given to them.
• I managed to bring about awareness on the importance of abstinence to 75% of the children, and to 60% of the adults the use of family planning and their various methods.
