  • Currently working as a Senior Pharmacy In-charge based at Zambezi District Hospital Out-Patients Department Solwezi North-Western Province
  • My responsibilities included among others: to ensure that HIV/AIDS patients receive appropriate and quality care and treatment by providing and managing an up to date HIV/AIDS information system and Availability of Drugs
  • I support clinicians in the ART clinic and MCH with timely data on patient flow, adherence, treatment and failure updates
  • With the help of SmartCare I am able to update the system with all patient records, and generate reports that enable quality health care to be provided and aid decision making regarding patient care and treatment
  • As a Senior Data entry clerk, I also provide support to other health facilities in terms of health records management, data entry and data collection
  • I also support Ministry of Health (MOH) reporting tool and collaborate with the DHIO on issues relating to data management and data quality
  • At district level, I participate in district review meetings at analysis the performance of the district using the data collected from the systems and patient's files Clinically and Pharmaceutically we manage at facility level
  • At facility level I present data using statistical analysis and graphical presentations during the monthly meetings
  • I also participate in data audits for assigned respective facilities
  • This is done as part of the requirement to ensure that only clean and validated data is reported to the funder
  • During data collection I under take data validations at point of data capture using excel and also triangulate the data submitted to the provincial office to ensure it free of data collection errors
