  • Maintain, repair, and optimize mobile equipment machines and associated devices thus maintaining a 95% fleet availability.
  • Supervising, planning, and coordinating fleet servicing and maintenance activities, which includes managing and allocating breakdown resources to ensure agreed time, cost, quality, safety, and environmental targets are met.
  • Providing advice, direction, and regular feedback on workshop performance to motivate a team of mechanical tradespersons and apprentices in delivery of mechanical services.
  • Performing backlog repairs, component change out and services on various mobile machines.
  • Maintain a 95% Fleet maximum reliability and minimize severe downtime by following OEM standard schedules and breakdown maintenance ways.
  • Check, diagnose, and repair components or mechanical systems, engine repair, machine assembly and disassembly, and exhaust systems.
  • Routine preventive maintenance (P.M.) and oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections of mobile equipment.
  • Major and minor repairs to heavy equipment such as transmission/ hydraulic/ pneumatic systems.
  • Rebuild and install components for various types of mobile equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other automotive problems.
