  • To coordinate the four provinces’ activities through the supervision of the Community Laison Officers who were stationed in the respective provinces

  • Monitor, supervise, mentor and manage volunteers under the TB LON project in the 32 health facilities in both Lusaka and Chongwe districts respectively
  • Dissemination of TB information and techniques to the volunteers engaged under the TB LON project
  • Conduct weekly, and monthly spot checks of activities in all the health facilities that the organization is implementing activities into by physical visits and phone conversations
  • Work closely with the TB focal point nurses in all the facilities and the lab techs for easy collaboration and feedback on the sputum samples that would have been sent to the lab
  • Facilitate in house orientations on new TB information and also conduct capacity building sessions to the volunteers
  • Hold weekly, monthly and quarterly meeting with the TB focal point nurses and volunteers to evaluate the work progression and also address the identified gaps to improve the quality of data and activities being conducted in all the health facilities
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi annual and annual reports to the project manager
  • Attend weekly situation room meetings with the partners who are CIDRZ and Afya Mzuri to deliberate on the progression of work and activities as a consortium

  • Designing, testing and rolling out of data collection tools for the organization across all projects despite being employed under the Tuberculosis Local Organizations Network (TB LON) project

  • The officer will be a linkage between the organization officers and the communities where data will be coming from, including the health facilities where the organization will be implementing its activities
  • The officer will also have to design the M & E framework for the organization bearing in mind all the activities that might be implemented across the board
  • Receive data from the district coordinators for populating into the excel reporting template
  • Enter the data in the project database and produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports and at any time as requested by the project manager or any other officer
