During my first 12 months of heading the Acquiring Business for both POS and e-Commerce, achieved the following milestones;

• Achieved a 15% net growth in customer base which eventually resulted into increased merchant transactions on POS, e-Commerce (Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, RTSA, ZAMTEL, and NAPSA on-boarding) resulting into over K2m annual net income growth.

• Successfully managed to lead and launch Power Card system from Prime/Base24 Acquiring System. This led to reduced TAT on customer on-boarding from One month to 10 Days.

• Change Leader in name change from Barclays to ABSA with seamless and issue free bank data base lift and drop from group/centre to in-country.

• Successfully developed and landed MoMo on POS in partnership with MTN – A capability which allows MTN Wallet holders to transact on ABSA POS machines from the wallet accounts sitting on their mobile phones.
