PERSONAL PROFILE: I am a goal oriented operations and administrative specialist with over 16 years of practical and demonstrable experience and demonstrated ability to perform in all the projects and programmes I have been involved in. I am a qualified, seasoned and dynamic change agent with special focus on streamlining project operations.


I have a skill set and competencies that have helped me deliver on all the projects I have implemented. Operations and Administrative Specialist

Provide operational and administrative support to the implementation to the USAID Funded “Enhancing Animal Health and One Health capacities to mitigate zoonotic diseases and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) risks and threats in Zambia”.

  • Maintain the operational structure, workflow, and procedures to ensure timely delivery of necessary inputs, quality assurance, and risk management during project implementation, in line with FAO administrative rules and regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate the Project Cycle Management Processes, from initiation through to implementation.
  • Provide operational coordination and support for ECTAD, Fleming Fund and other FAO projects in Zambia
  • Support the development of and provide operational inputs for project documents, proposals, and work plans for internal clearances.

  • Lead in the implementation of the FAO Zambia Aquaculture Enterprise Development Project (ZAEDP) and assist the Lead Technical Officer (LTO) and the national team to identify any other specific needs to be addressed by FAO;

  • Coordinate the implementation of the Fleming Fund Antimicrobial Resistance Project under the FAO Zambia portfolio.

Achievements

  • Voted the best ADP manager in the central region comprising of 14 ADPs.
  • Scored two consecutive grade one (1) audit ratings for (FY 11 and FY12)
  • Scooped the best NGO award during the district agriculture show for three years running (2010, 2011, & 2012) in the NGO category.
  • Conducted the ADP’s evaluation and re-design process at the end of the first phase and beginning of the second phase. This involved; a one week reflection process, data collection on the community contribution.
  • Undertook the reflection and re-design workshop with various district stakeholders, provincial, national and international partners.
  • Developed the programme document that became guiding the programme till 2015, complete with draft annual plans/detailed implementation plans that included the Log frame, Indicator tracking table and the M & E Plan.
  • Formulated the the baseline survey for Maternal, New-born, Child health care project in Chibombo district.
  • Delivered three evaluation surveys (Livestock and crop diversification project, Food voucher project and Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) for food voucher project in Chibombo District).
