- Helping patients with bathing, feeding, toileting and mobility support
- Vigilantly monitored changes in physical and mental health, reporting deterioration to nurse for urgent attention
- Working closely with the nurses to maintain high levels of communication
- Assisting clinical staff with wound care and health assessment, enhancing care between support teams
- Monitoring patient’s temperature, pulse, respiration and weight throughout hospice stay
- Charting patient information relating to vital signs, pain management and daily inputs and outputs
- Keeping public areas clean and hygienic by performing routine sanitization tasks
- Assisting clients in all aspects of personal care, retaining comfort and dignity

- Bed making and emptying bed pans
