  • Coordinating and supervising frontline employees (Bus Drivers) to ensure meritorious delivery of services to the Company's major Client - Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL).
  • Developing and implementing strategic project plans to meet the demands for satisfactory transportation of Airports Staff in all three Airports across the nation i.e. Kenneth Kaunda Int'l Airport (in Lusaka), Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Int'l Airport (in Ndola) and Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula Int'l Airport (in Livingstone).
  • Supervise and collectively develop easy-to-follow work plans with Station Managers at the other two Airports i.e. Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe and Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula Airports.
  • Soliciting and negotiating favorable Credit Facilities for fuel, service parts and tyres in order to ensure uninterrupted flow of service delivery to the Client. The Credit Facilities allow the Company to procure supplies without cash-in-hand and make payment when funds are available.
  • Source, vet and manage subcontracted buses that are hired to close gaps in our bus fleet in all three Airports.
  • Attending to emergencies that arise in the course of duty like tyre bursts or punctures. Some of these emergencies occur at awkward hours of the night. As Project Manager, it is my responsibility to provide on-the-spot workable solutions so that service delivery is not in jeopardy.
  • Drafting project reports to identify successful outcomes, insights and future recommendations.
  • Crafting and Identifying plans and resources required to meet project goals and objectives.
  • Keeping close check on fuel usage as well as performance of all buses in all three fleets. This close monitoring is done in collaboration with the managers at the Ndola and Livingstone Airports.
  • Scheduling servicing for the buses and ensuring that all service parts are timely made available. This helps keep the vehicle in tiptop condition for satisfactory service delivery to the Client.
  • Monitoring our scores as well as inefficiencies on the project, identifying risks and taking corrective action as needed. This of course is done in consultation with Company Directors.
  • Analyzing project performance data to identify areas of improvement. There's always room for growth when you're open-minded.
  • Coordinating material procurement and required services for the project within budgetary provisions.
  • Maintaining open communication by staying in touch with ZACL officials and presenting regular updates on project status to both employers and where required, the Client.
  • Preparing invoices and making prompt follow-ups to ensure payments are made in good time.
  • Preparing salary schedules and mediating for the company when payments to either employees or suppliers are delayed.
  • Tracking project and team member performance closely for quick intervention in mistakes or delays.
  • Facilitating the recruitment of new Drivers when a gap has been created or vacancy arising by reason of resignation. This also comes with overseeing Drivers' performance and attitudes towards Airports Staff so as to identify areas that may need improvements.
  • Negotiating and managing third-party contracts related to project deliverables. Preparing and submitting project invoices for review and approval.
