A fully registered Mechanical Technician with 18 years hands- on experience and a member of engineering institute of Zambia. Motivated and hardworking, able to perform with minimum supervision. I have vast experience in mobile and fixed plants, e.g. mine winders (service and mineral),cranes, pumps, underground locomotives, hydraulics, conveyor belts, etc. To provide technical guidance to Foremen, Artisans and their crew.To produce technical reports. To implement projects and develop best practices and procedures. To observe and enforce safety rules and regulations. As Acting Foreman, To give daily and hourly report to the Section Engineer. To ensure that safety of equipment and personnel comes first. To maintain and repair equipment to the highest standard. To identify and report hazards and risks to the safety department. To carry out statutory maintenance and compliance on mine winders in accordance with Zambian mining regulations. To modify,install and repair old and new equipment.
