Over 20 years work experience as a Public Health professional across a wide range of areas such as strengthening of digital health systems focusing on HIV service delivery and coordination, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Strategic Planning, Strategic Information, Social Protection, Social and Community Engagement, Grants Management as well as Project Management, Health Impact Assessment, Policy, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation as well as programming for adolescents and young people.
Facilitated with in-country partners, the regional hub, the global coordinator and technical support providers the development of detailed implementation plans based on the programme’s inception report, technical support plans and annual activity plans for the Strategic Initiative; and overseeing any in-country consultants during implementation;

• Technically guided the successful HIV Service Mapping in Zambia using digital health platforms;
• Effectively managed the utilization of human, financial and other resources in the Directorate in order to ensure effective and efficient operations and the attainment of the Directorate’s and corporate objectives.
· Held policy dialogues with stakeholders that included Parliamentarians, Line Ministries and Civil Society Organisations;
· Technically guided the development of the Zambia HIV, AIDS, STI, TB Policy and its implementation framework which recommended the use of digital health system for HIV prevention and treatment;
• Provided overall strategic direction for the National HIV/AIDS/STI/TB Council
• Advised the Council on SRHR, Social Protection and Safety networks for vulnerable populations especially those affected and infected by HIV and AIDS;
• Fostered effective team work between the Council and its periodic interaction with the Cabinet Committee of Ministers for Health and HIV and AIDS, Government Line Ministries, Civil Society Organisations, Cooperating Partners, Private Sector and Staff of the Secretariat;
• Provided leadership during the organisational leadership transitional phase and enhanced visibility of the National HIV/AIDS/STI/TB Council;
• Provided leadership in monitoring of the day-to-day delivery of the programs of the organisation to improve on quality whilst maintaining a safe and conducive working environment for staff.
• Provided overall supervision of the human resource including facilitating the development of policies, procedures and practices and job descriptions for all staff
• Mobilised and secured funding for the operation of the organization and the National HIV Response in general;
• Administered organisational resources to the approved work plan and budget and monitored the monthly cash flow of the organisation;

• Planned and conducted research, monitoring and evaluation, Directorate Supervisory monitoring exercise at sub-national levels as well as Joint Monitoring Missions with stakeholders;
• Planned and executed various evaluations especially the Joint Annual Programme Review (JAPR), Joint Mid-Term Review (JMTR) and Joint Technical Review (JTR);
• Identified gaps that exist at programme implementation stage and suggest corrective measures;
• Led the development of data collection tools;
• Provided regular and timely feedback on the performance of the programmes to the implementation agencies, directorates, subnational level staff and stakeholders in order to improve service delivery;
• Identified issues for research development and enhancement of the existing Management Information System.
• Conducted research and evaluation of existing monitoring and evaluation processes and provided technical assistance to implement international standards of data management and quality within the Parliamentary Reform Project funded by the European Union;
• Coordinated a taskforce of Members of Parliament on social protection, environment and sustainable natural resource management and agriculture;
• Developed monitoring and evaluation plans and data collection instruments and processes and managed the process of developing of an M&E database for the EU funded programme.
• Developed the monitoring and evaluation Management Information System (MIS) for the Forest Resource Management Project;
• Developed Monitoring and Evaluation training materials and conducted training of community implementers in the selected working areas for the project;
• Led the formation and development of community natural resource management committees (CNRMCs);
• Led the development of project proposals for community groups;
• Coordinated sustainable natural resource committees in the selected working groups;
• Conducted research on the contribution of the beekeeping sector in Zambia to the Zambian economy.
The Ant-Casual and Commercial Sex Movement is a non-governmental organisation whose objective is to empower sex workers with life and entrepreneurial skills. This was a £3m NORAD funded project and I worked as Programme Officer. My major responsibility was to designed and implemented planned programmes that included capacity building, annual work planning and well as monitoring and evaluation of set indicators. In addition, I conducted trainings in general M&E principles.
