After completing my craft certificate in power electrical at choma trades training institute, I was employed as a plant operator at Victoria falls power stations in Livingstone by zesco limited and they sponsored me to go and study as a plant operator in hydro power plant technology at kafue gorge regional training center in the year 2000, in 2003 I was transferred to nkana east 330/220 kv substations where I worked for five years and later transferred to transformer workshop ndola as a principal electrician and I was in charge of repairing and installations of transformers and switch gears for northern, northwestern luapula and copperbelt province, later transferred I was transferred to ndola south operations and maintenance to carry out all all electrical equipments and switch gears for the company. Again I was trained in protection Ied and operations and maintenance installed for Kasama and ndola substations, I also did an advanced electrical technician at nortec,I also electrical installation inspectors course at zesco training center in ndola.am a member of the engineering institution of Zambia, I have worked for zesco limited for 21 years.
