• Major responsibility is to ensure the delivery of safe, sustainable and integrated traffic and transportation network in alignment with the required traffic standards and bylaws to achieve optimal network performance
• Other responsibilities;

- Development and review of safety studies that include but not limited to; speed limit studies, route and intersection investigations and areawide or corridor studies;

- Undertake technical activities associated with the planning, investigations and implementation of solutions to ensure the safety and effective operation of the transport network for all road users;

- Crash analysis and development of solutions to maximize opportunities for improved safety;

- Conducting road safety related inspections and design of collision reduction schemes;

- Providing safety engineering advice and guidance into various road infrastructure projects;

• Major responsibility was to schedule and track various project timelines and milestones using Microsoft Project
• Other responsibilities;- Undertaking project risk assessments and managing them- Various stake holder management- Timely procurement management- Ensuring scope is followed and avoiding scope creep- Identifying and managing project dependencies and the critical path- Producing financial and progress reports

• Major responsibility was to offer civil engineering expertise and advise during design, tendering and construction phases of the Modern Concentrator Plant
• Other responsibilities;- Ensuring timely delivery of various construction packages- Ensuring adherence to Safety, Health, Security and Environmental procedures, including the Company's Code of Ethics Policy and Best Practice Principles.- Certifying Compliance with all legislation and other laws pertaining to the goods/services

• Major responsibility was to manage various underground, surface, water, sewerage and road construction projects from design, tendering and construction components
• Other responsibilities;- Proposing designs to draft office for detailed engineering drawings.- Giving engineering advice and solutions to varied challenges to end users.- Preparing Bills of Quantities based on drawings or engineered solutions.- Preparing material schedules and job cost estimates.- Appointed departmental quality representative for MCM Quality Management System as standardized by ISO 9001: 2015.- Acting as arbitrator in instances of differences between various contractors or contractors with end users.- Conducting Risk assessments or Job safety analysis for works with work men to ensure safety is adhered to during job.- Carrying out routine inspections and giving go-ahead for various stages e.g
• Pre-concrete inspections, painting checks etc.- Screening of training and competence of contractor's workforce i.e
• Workmen, foremen, engineers etc.- Ensuring adherence to all internal Company Policies (Safety, Health, Security and Environment) including the Company's Code of Ethics Policy and Best Practice Principles.- Compliance with all legislation and other laws pertaining to the goods/services- Issuing payment certificates based on measured works.

• Under the mentorship of a senior expatriate project manager I was managing the various project management cycle stages for the Mindola North Water and Infrastructure Project

• Major responsibility Transferred to Kitwe Mopani Copper Mines under QATD (Quality Assurance and Technical Department) still as Senior Assistant Engineer- Civil
• Tasks undertaken with respective roles which I played include Quality Audits of various Contractors and suppliers registered with MCM and administering of questionnaires.- Design and construction supervision of Concrete Sump for Leach Plant CCD tanks.- Technical adjudications for various Civil related projects.- Developing quality filing system for some of documents we had as department.

• Major responsibility was production of civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD for various mine installation and works
