Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage and monitor front line and/or specialist operational policing activity for my team, managing competing demands and priorities to make informed deployment decisions and ensure best use of available resources.
• Set schedules and oversee daily workflow.
• Analyze all security reports on daily occurrences, routine works and investigations and recommend appropriate actions to see improvements or gaps.
• Motivate, train and supervise activities of subordinate officers to maximize team productivity.
• Lead, motivate and engage team of over 30 inspectors, sergeants, constables and civilian police staff to uphold professional standards and enable a high performing team that achieve targets.

• Coordinate with senior command in planning and coordination of security systems, procedures, practices and policies in accordance with the Zambia Police Service
