  • Overall duties are to oversee and coordinate the operations,planning and reporting at Chiefdom level with the CRBs,Traditional Leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Support timely disbursement of Forest Carbon Fees to CRBs (Community Resource Board) by building CRBs capacity to plan, budget and submit their approved CRB AWPs (Annual Work Plan) in line with CCB (Community, Climate and Bio Diversity) and VCS (Verified Carbon Standards)
  • Support and continuously remind the CRBs on their CFMA obligations and further support the CRBs in implementation of their Forest Management Plans thereby helping in reduction of cumulative REDD+ deforestation by Ha and number of active fields and settlements in REDD+ Zones.
  • Support CRBs with developing and implementing Fire Management Plans towards achieving zero late season fires.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with local traditional leaders, community stakeholders, local authorities, Government Departments and the District Administration.
