Deployed to Manage QMS systems & attain ISO 9001:2015 certification, Manage Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality function for Zambia region, Drive Employee Wellness Programs, Attain Safety Audit Ratings through internal and external audits and ensure compliance to standards and statutory requirements, Facility management of all depots & sites with Barloworld presence (Lusaka, Kitwe, Solwezi, Lumwana & Kalumbila), Develop robust annual facility improvement & maintenance plan and execute Facility Projects.

Key roles are:

• Establishing and maintaining a strong SHE culture in the organization through SHEQ training of staff, development of SHEQ Communication Strategy for all levels of staff to include written information, toolbox talks, and management briefs.
• Advise and assist with the implementation of new or existing SHEQ-related legislation, rules, and Company standards, including but not limited to fire prevention, health and safety awareness training, and site inspections.
• Management of SHEQ audit procedures and ensure audits are conducted on a regular basis, and records maintained.

• Implementation and management of Safety Induction Program for new employees and visitors.
• Management of PPE procurement process to ensure compliance for the entire business in Zambia.

• Development of a Quality Management System to achieve an ISO listing, and to maintain such listing through continuous review and enhancement of the QMS.
• Reporting on quality trends, including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, and revalidation's.

• Requests for purchase, issuance, and maintenance in liaison with fleet service provider.

Deployed to ensure the Safety Section maintained an effective and visible presence in the workplace regarding health, environment, and safety management; supervised advisors within the Safety Section and built skills and knowledge within the team; assisted with the coordination and implementation of LMC's HSE Management System to a standard that was compatible with international practice and undertaken in a timely and cost-effective way.
