Responsibility

Provide strategic, technical and programmatic support to all Activity areas related to PP programming in CHEKUP II implementation districts.

Lead capacity development to other Project Staff on pP programming in general.

Lead the team in planning and providing technical assistance in implementing and monitoring PP programmes in CHEKUP II districts.

Work collaboratively with other project staff, facilitating policy dialogue and technical representation related to CHEKUP II’s PP programmes.

Ensure effective programme and project result-based management based on CHEKUP-II’s targets for PP interventions

Effectively manage relationships with the government and other partners.

Support the timely and quality implementation of annual work plans for USAID CHEKUP II.

Identify critical gaps in knowledge and understanding, and identify promising and innovative PP-related approaches.

Implement and adhere to JSH’s personnel, financial, operations and fraud management policies.

Other duties as assigned by the Director – Priority Populations consistent with CHEKUP II’s objectives.

Built capacity through in long term family planning, Zambia consolidated guideline, indexing, social networking strategies, coaching boys into me, and community engagement to all CHEKUP II clinicians

RESPONSIBILITY

· Provide technical oversight, strategic direction and support for the implementation of USAID DISCOVER-Health program activities in PrEP

· Through close collaboration with the PBI team, ensure that inherent and generated demand are matched with the needed modalities of PrEP service provision

· Develop/review and adapt evidence-based clinical training materials, performance standards, and supervisory systems needed for program implementation

· Scale-up collaboration and capacity building with the Ministry of Health counterparts to ensure sustainability of PrEP services in selected supported sites beyond the life of project

· Provide technical assistance on PrEP service provision for at-risk AGYW through demand generation, PrEP social and behavioral change communication (SBCC), and the use of technology to appropriately engage with the potential PrEP users

· Enhance provision of differentiated service delivery for PrEP in supported facilities, targeted institutions and communities for the purposes of addressing client needs and promoting PrEP continuation as needed

· Promote the integration of PrEP in antenatal services through training and onsite mentorship of appropriate service providing cadres

· Work with the Project’s Supply Chain team to ensure consistent availability of PrEP inclined commodities and supplies

· Document and replicate best practices across Project sites, and facilitate rapid mid-course adjustments and corrections to enable the Project meet its goals and objectives in the area of PrEP

· Work with USAID DISCOVER-Health Strategic Information unit to ensure effective documentation and tracking of PrEP related indicators

· Foster networking with the PMOs, DMOs, the private sector, and key community structures in promoting uptake and access to PREP services in partner provinces/ districts;

· Provide technical leadership and supervision to USAID/DISCOVER-Health program implementation at outreach site level and within the province, for the range of USAID/DISCOVER-Health services and products, and ensure timely and effective technical service provision in all the outreach sites; · Provide technical leadership and guidance to identify capacity strengthening needs of USAID/DISCOVER-Health technical and other personnel;

· Provide leadership for appropriate training and mentorship for USAID/DISCOVER-Health staff in collaboration with the DPD – Technical Services and the representative program and technical team leads;

· Provide representation for USAID/DISCOVER-Health as appropriate and necessary, with relevant internal and external counterparts, partners, and stakeholders; · Provide technical leadership and guidance, at hub level, for project monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities in close collaboration with other USAID/DISCOVER-Health teams and especially the M&E Team;

· Provide day to day supervision for all USAID/DISCOVER-Health staff working in the at Hub level and lead annual performance assessments, goal setting, and assist in professional development;

· Ensure that the project adheres to national and internationally accepted technical and programmatic norms and standards and that best practices and approaches are well documented and highlighted throughout project implementation;

· Lead knowledge management and documentation of key lessons learned and best practices identified by the project at the hub;

· Ensure timely preparation of all necessary reports from the hub (province), and especially inputs to quarterly reports, and semi and annual reports;

· Carry out duties, responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

· Provide guidance and mentorship to both MoH staff and ART Nurses in the implementation of CHRESO - ART/TB objectives/activities at site level;

· Take a leadership role in integrating ART/TB care into other services and points of care including MNCH and FP/RH at site level

· Assist to design and implement effective models to optimize case-finding and timely entry into care for pediatric/adolescent patients and minimize loss to follow-up;

· Provide technical input and expertise in shaping sustainable ART/TB service provision to target populations through networking and nurturing operational partnerships at site level

· Support with knowledge management and documentation of key lessons learned and best practices identified by the project, in ART/TB at Site level.

· Ensure timely reporting related to ART/TB, and especially inputs to monthly, quarterly reports, and semi and annual reports.

· Monitor and ensure timely replenishment of all consumables used in the ART/TB unit at Site level-e.g. smart care forms, drugs, equipment and other supplies.

· Ensure timely collection and submission of claims forms from our MoH partners to the Hub Manager.

· Follow up and work on all rejected claims of our MoH partners.

· Support Hub Manager with data review meetings at site level with our MoH partners.

· Lead the ART Nurses and community volunteers at site level to ensure that all clients seen at site level are attended to with quality and correct and complete documentation in all data capturing tools is done.

· Ensure that samples for Lab are collected by the respective staff and ensure follow up and filing of Lab results.

· Provide overall supervision at site level to ensure that CHRESO objectives relating to the ART/TB unit are met.

· Attend to any other official duties as assigned by the Hub Manager as direct supervisor or ART/ TB Advisor.
