Dispatch/Tracking Controller

  • Monitoring positions of the entire fleet of 174 trucks on Skygistics Tracking System
  • Ensuring trucks are at their various loading and offloading points on time
  • Reporting breakdowns to operations manager, Livetrack, workshops as well as the client and other involved parties
  • Sending a detailed report of the entire fleet’s location, load, status and current activity Opening job cards for every truck on Fleet Manager (NAVASION) once it arrives in the Kasembo yard or has a breakdown
  • Opening trips for each truck on Fleet Manager and issuing of Diesel orders for all our suppliers from Zambia and our suppliers in Zimbabwe and Botswana
  • Issuing Cash vouchers to drivers to collect trip monies from accounts Communicating with our agents at the borders in regards to the clearance of trucks Responding to queries from our clients concerning their loads via phone and email
  • Filling in each driver’s worksheet prior to dispatch from Kasembo yard
