Accomplishments

  • Represented Maiden Publishing House which was the only African Local Publishing company from southern Africa invited to be part of the International Publishers book fair in Rabat Morocco which took in June 2022. During the B2B meetings I succeeded in getting into a business collaboration with an International company called De Stokage which specializes in buying unsold stock in bulk from companies worldwide. They are currently in the process buying English readers from some of the unsold stock which the company has had for the past 5 years.
  • USAID: Read To Suceed Project: Reading Tools in a Box Project: was part of the team that succeeded in tendering and bidding for the development of educational materials to be used for this particular project. Maiden Publishing House was responsible for the development of the readers and training materials which were used throughout the entire project. Project was launched by the Ministry of Education and USAID in July 2012. Even though the USAID: Read To Succeed Project closed in 2017, The Reading tools in a Box materials are still being bought by the Ministry of education and other donors for distributions to schools countrywide.
