  • This is a hand on kind of a job and my responsibilities are as follows:
  • Hosting and satisfying the needs of the guest at all times and ensuring that the staffs understand the importance of the guest as the so reason we are there
  • Booking of flight for the personnel’s that would be working on the specific equipment in camp requiring specialist
  • Ensuring that the aviation standards are maintained at the airstrip at all times
  • Making orders for the both bulk/dry and fresh foods relating to the coming groups in camp as well as ration for the staff
  • Also, maintaining the (first In First Out) FIFO and the par levels are maintained

  • Joined the Royal Zambezi Lodge in 2016 as Lodge Service Manager and working in that position for 2 years and during my time holding that position I implemented a number of systems which helped increase the smooth flow of service and improved the communications between department to department which is vital in any organisation by using technology at our disposal
  • I increased the revenue of the camp and also trained the staff to understand the core foundation of the hospitality through training and also grow the confidence of the staff
  • After 2 years was promoted to another position
  • Front of house Manager,my focus is to be the face of the lodge and act as a middle man between the guest and all the departments, also working with the kitchen and the bar.
  • And this is a very important position because i had to solve all problems and maintain a good rapport with all guests by ensuring they have the best stay, This has exposed me a lot as we normally receive guests of all corners of the world which has broaden my knowledge
  • Currently pursuing a degree in International Hospitality at Unicaf University

  • I worked in the mines with a contractor company Remote Sites Solutions Zambia which provides catering and cleaning services to the miners, I worked as a chef and worked as a supervisor in different shift and all area, pastry, cold and hot section of the kitchen
  • I worked at RSSZ for almost 7 months and I was mainly managing the outside kitchen in the Kansanshi Golf Estate therefore I instate a sheet which would keep whoever was working what is in stock and what is about to finish.

  • I recently began my own enterprise purposely to create employment for my fellow youths and aid in understand my career with depth
  • I have excelled in most of my events thus elevating my courage to experience new challenges
  • I am currently working on publishing a cook book, that will introduce amazing new dishes and recipes which could change the culinary game in Zambia.

10.2013 - 10.2014
  • I was employed at Kansanshi Mines in Solwezi, a company under the umbrella of First Quantum Mines (FQML) as a chef and I planned menus, worked two different shifts night and day
  • I prepared different dished of various cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, was able to introduce a few breakfast recipe which increase the guest turn up thus revenue apart from that I always work with a smile and guest love that
  • I was able to plan my time and ensure that I served much guest as possible
  • The majority of our guests were South African citizens
  • Every Saturday we had a braai and hence learnt a lot through tips and practice
  • My contract ended because most of clients we prepared food for completed the construction of the smelter hence most went back thus the leadoff.
