  • Ensure compliance with mine plans through the provision of mining controls (design and polygon staking, and ramp and bench survey mining profiles)
  • Perform bench-wise reconciliations to verify production tonnages that are mined from each mining bench against what was planned and check compliance of mining to design through analysis of cut sections showing actual versus design
  • Monitor and analyze production and equipment performances and coordinate weekly and monthly production meetings with all stakeholders to discuss variances, mitigation measures, and catch-up plans
  • Develop the dewatering plans through joint analysis of the dewatering operations' needs, with engineers from geotechnical, hydrogeology, mechanical, electrical, and operations
  • Develop rainfall preparedness plans and schedule of works and projects, monitor progress, and champion weekly rainfall preparation plans
  • Develop project scopes of works before engaging contractors, being part of a due diligence team to scrutinize potential contractors and evaluate contractor performance on a monthly basis on safety, health, and production
  • Champion departmental operation excellence team involved in the identification of improvement opportunities to reduce mining costs while considering health, safety, environment, quality, and productivity
