A Hard Working Project Manager or Civil Engineering Technologist with a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management NQF8,a B-tech in Civil Engineering (water) NQF 7, also a certificate in Develop and Promote Labour-Intensive Construction Strategies-NQF7 and more than 8 years’ experience in civil engineering project management positions. Skills I have acquired over the past five years working for Consulting Engineers as Engineers Representative, Resident Engineer, and Site Manager for a Contractor on MIG, WSIG, and RBIG Funded project:

Project procurement stage (Prepare tender documents, specifications, bill of quantities, engineers estimate, Bid Specification Committee presentation, and contract evaluation /adjudication reports).

Ensuring Quality of work and ensures compliance with the Company Quality Management System .

Ensures Quality Control Plan is in place and approved prior commencement of any work.

Ensures compliance with health and safety Acts prior commencement of any work.

Responsible for Project management on all projects funded by R-big, MIG, and WSIG, submission of the required information by the Client i.e., Implementation plans, Monthly programs, Cash Flow projections, Quarterly reports, and ensures compliance with EPWP.

Chair Briefing Meetings, Site handover meeting, and site progress/ technical meetings.

Verify and process payment certificates and prepare monthly expenditure reports for submission to the Client.

Develop and Manage project projected cash flows in relation to the actual expenditure.

Ensure project is completed in time, good quality, and within budget. Prepares, implement and track implementation plan. Manage the programme very closely.

Ensuring good quality of works by conducting all relevant test are done, encourage correct methodology and all material used are SANS1200 approved. Site inspection and drafting of monthly. Submit Progress reports, EPWP reports, and Closeout reports with Completion certificates and as built drawings to the client.
