  • My duties also included Co-operative market linkages, which included sensitization and linking of co-operatives engaged in entrepreneurial activities to available markets in the district and outside and linking and connecting enterprising cooperatives to available credit facilities in the district and outside

  • The smallholder farmers were trained in capacity building, mainly in business plan development and the dynamics of group governance in cooperatives
  • The project was funded by IFAD, and my role was mainly to train agricultural cooperatives in business proposals writing, business development, market linkages and access to affordable finances
  • I also produced a report on business status core of cooperatives at district level

  • Trained as a trainer in business incubation, business development, financial management, and book keeping. The project is funded by UNESCO called STEP targeting students who are supposed to be transformed into entrepreneurs. The main aim of the project is to reduce unemployment levels among the youths in Southern Africa. The workshop was held in South Africa, Limpopo University from10th to15th July,2023.
  • Trained in Cooperative Business Development (Business Plan Development, the importance of value addition and processing, and rural industrialization in Entrepreneurship) this was facilitated by CIDP provincial coordination team. The workshop was held on7th June2022.
  • Trained in Market Systems Development in Agribusiness (generally, the training was about creating initiatives that would promote the inclusion of the marginalized rural smallholder farmers by input/ service provider companies as a way of creating value for them in the value chain and ultimately their sustainability..e.g., through the creation of inclusive market model, review of government policies and regulations). The training which was facilitated by SAPP in March2019.
  • Trained in agribusiness development (the need for value addition through processing in the value chain), a workshop which was held in Livingstone on15th September2021. The workshop was funded by UNDP.
