- Had the duty of Jacketing new files and re-jacketing worn out or damaged file covers
- Removed inactive files to create space for active files and placing them in the archives for future use and preparation of the following year
- Labelling new files with names of parties and case numbers for easy access and location of the file records
- Assisting litigants with making an electronic search on trim
- Recorded new files in the incoming register and allocated a case number for the files
- Received payments and issued out receipts for documents filed into court
- Labelled case records case numbers for easy retrieval of the files and using different colors of file jackets to distinguish the files by the year they were created
- Updated case records on trim using profiles created for every registry clerk
- Made sure documents received in the registry were placed on the file records before the file was called up for a hearing.
