By creating a single stream recycling initiative for waste diversion at the University of
Zambia by pairing every trash bin with a recycling bin to toss plastics, glass different and
paper without having to sort them out before hand
The goal of this project is to reduce mismanagement of recyclable waste by 50% and also
generate extra income to channel to other projects with the assistance of various
stakeholders such as UNZA management, Local manufacturing and recycling companies
as well as Local government.
