Summary

Experienced and proactive project management professional offering more than 10 years of progressive experience in leading and managing development and public health efforts in Zambia for projects funded by PEPFAR (USAID, CDC & DOD) DFID and Global Fund. Previously, managed up to USD 32.9 million multi-year complex USAID funded orphans and vulnerable children program covering Lusaka, Copperbelt, North Western Provinces and supervised teams of over 80+ staff and provided oversight to over 84 sub-awardees and supported over 100,000 orphans and vulnerable children in comprehensive case management (education, health, child protection and economic strengthening), 6,000 children/adolescents living with HIV with treatment and care, 450 adolescent/ youth clubs. I also managed and led a USD 1. 8 million USAID/DFID funded Gender Based Violence Survivor Support project in successfully establishing six GBV One Stop Centers in six districts of four provinces in Zambia, that supported over 31,000 survivors of GBV. I participated in domestication and adaptation of the evidence-based programs such as the Families Matter! Program, including the dual gender No Means No program, Faith Matters etc. in Zambia. I participated in the development of the National Child Safeguarding Framework in Zambia as a member of the steering committee. I conducted gender research work in Tanzania focusing on gender equality and equity practices and policies in academic recruitment, promotion and leadership appointment and in Ireland on progressive taxation systems with a strong gender lens focusing on Malawi, Uganda and Honduras. I currently serve as the head of programs and part of the senior management team at Expanded Church Response.
