Company Overview: USAID Zambia Integrated Health Project

• Developed integrated service delivery protocols for FP/RH/MNCH, NCD, and HIV/TB, while building the capacity of health workers and community volunteers.

• Reviewed the historical, current, and future landscape of Quality Improvement (QI) of MOH and other partners in Zambia and contributed to the inputs on QI in the latest 2022-2026 National Health Strategic plan used now to guide Health care delivery in the country.
• Contributed to the building of the Ministry of Health’s framework for Person Centered Care (PCC) in health service delivery.
• In 2023, contributed to naming the QI National Conference theme as: “Person-Centered Care: An approach to improving the delivery of quality health care and people’s well-being”.

• Company Overview: PROUDZ program
• Ensured TB/ART services were implemented per national guidelines and mentored facility staff in HIV and TB testing, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Built capacity through training and mentorship in Quality Improvement (QI) projects, TB/HIV co-infection management, and health systems strengthening.
• Provided mentorship in ART/TB initiation for all age groups, HMIS (including SmartCare), logistics management, and reproductive health services.
• Led the PROUDZ program, training 106 HCWs in QI, overseeing 168+ QI projects, and improving TB Preventive Therapy coverage from 56% to 75% in Lusaka Province.
• Spearheaded a Surge campaign in Lusaka Province, supporting the Ministry of Health in achieving 95% HIV status awareness among clients.

Company Overview: Chilenje General Hospital - MOH

• Performed nursing procedures, administered prescribed medications, and monitored patient vitals according to standard protocols.
• Established 106 Community Adherence Groups (CAGs) to improve patient adherence, appointment retention, and viral suppression rates.
• Provided supervision, guidance, and mentorship to healthcare workers while ensuring smooth patient admissions and emergency transfers.
• Assisted in logistics management to ensure the availability of essential medical supplies and maintained accurate nursing care documentation.
• Presented the CAG approach at the 21st International AIDS Conference (2016, Durban), contributing to its adoption in other facilities and improving viral suppression from 59% in 2010 to 75% in 2018.
