Lead the planning and project control team to prepare the Project Organization Structure and project execution plan.
Selecting L1 vendors after negotiation and commercial comparisons, technical approval of offers, P.O approvals, review and approval of vendor drawings, arrange inspection at vendor location and tracking delivery to site.
Coordinating with QC dept. and client for equipment and fabrication inspection at site.
Liaise with engineering subcontractors in order to meet overall project goals considering site conditions and priorities as per execution plan.
Liaise with design team and consultants to get AFC drawings.
Coordination between site team and client/consultant to clear site constrains.
Document control of all drawings, scope, MOM, reports, approvals, site instructions etc
Preparation of DPR.
Attending weekly and monthly client meetings preparing MOM and impending issues.
Arranging extracurricular activities for work stress relief and motivational safety and performance awards.
Preparation of Risk assessments, method statements and QAP requirements.
Preparation and submission of monthly invoices and follow up for payments.
Final document data pack submission, obtaining MC and project completion certificates.
Submission of final bill and reconciliation.
Costing for upcoming projects, monitoring actual cost center vise expenses and making fiscal year planned Vs actual stats and calculating profit %.
TENDERING
üStudy and analysis of tender documents.
Review of the existing steel, manpower and logistics rates, understanding and predicting market fluctuation.
Floating RFQ for budgetary quotes for special cases.
Liaise with Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation teams for better understanding of their scope of work and supply items requirements.
Prepare costing analyzing manpower consumables and misc. requirements to match company standard rates and incorporate changes if required.
Preparation of final offer with all required documents and submission after getting approval from management.
Follow-up with client, attending negotiation meeting and submitting revised offer within deadline.
PROCUREMENT
Preparation of BOQ for project including all deliverables.
Getting clear specs and drawings of equipment’s and bought-out items to be supplied from client.
Preparation of consolidated steel MTO and floating RFQ to suppliers in Zambia, South Africa, India and China.
Preparation of comparison sheets with landing costs.
Selecting L1 and getting approval from management.
Preparation of P.O and making payment through accounts dept.
Coordinating with logistics dept. to finalize transporter and clearing agent and necessary documentation.
Tracking shipment from start to finish for air, sea and land freight.
Material receipt verifying with PL and signing goods receipt.
SUBCONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT
Identification and selection of sub-contractor after detail review of their technical and commercial offer.
Visiting sub-contractor facility to ensure ability to handle work in hand with no compromises in safety and quality.
Finalizing the sub-contractor contract with terms and conditions as per specific project requirement
Scrutiny of sub-contractor invoice and certification.
Sub-contractor work progress monitoring, arranging weekly meetings for progress review and analysis.
CRANE HIRE & FLEET MANAGEMENT
Hiring of cranes & earth moving equipments.
Getting clear specs and drawings of equipments and items to be lifted from client.
Arranging for the suitable range of crane required for operations.
