  • Currently based at Chibombo hub and leading a team of 15 employees in providing services to 4 centres namely Kembe Ranch Mwelebi, Kapalu, Mayota and Chilo in the provision of ART,FPRH MNCH,Cervical Cancer Screening, Health promotion services and mentoring and coaching to technical counterparts at the respective health posts in Maternal Newborn and Child health (MNCH), sexual and reproductive health including family planning (FP/RH), eliminating maternal and neonatal transmission (eMTCT), and cervical cancer screening and referrals
  • Scheduling appointments with clients on ART and Cervical Cancer screening, follow ups on clients to increase results return, provision of direct care in HIV prevention, testing, treatment, TB services (including initiation, retention in and adherence to antretroviral therapy) across the facilities supported by USAID JSI Discover Health
  • Providing technical supervision and guidance in ensuring provision of quality services and guiding the technical aspects of the USDAID Discover Health project in the implementation and monitoring of project goals, objectives, activities, and tasks, as well as supporting analysis of data on MNCH, FP/RH, eMTCT, and cervical cancer screening
  • Participates in daily running of the HIV/AIDS clinics at facilities supported by USAID JSI Discover Health including daily enrollment of all newly identified HIV positive clients such as pregnant and Breastfeeding women, children, adolescents and adults
  • Works in collaboration with Ministry of health staff at various facilities plus USAID JSI DISCOVER staff and volunteers to strengthen targeted HIV eligibility screening at all Clinics and Perform daily review of all HTS services data tools both at Health Facilities and from outreaches to track all new HIV positive clients in collaboration with Community Health Workers and ensure their enrollment into care and on ART to completion
  • Provide technical oversight, strategic direction, and support for cervical cancer screening and referrals, to ensure technical excellence and quality of services across the 4 sites/health posts
  • Provide supervision, training, mentorship, and capacity building of service providers at the 4 sites in the effective provision of MNCH, FP/RH, eMTCT, and cervical cancer screening and referral services
  • Provide leadership, in collaboration with the Hub Manager FP/RH and MNCH Advisor, ART Advisor in advocacy and demand creation to increase uptake and utilization
  • In collaboration with district health office counterparts, contribute to developing and implementing health services strengthening strategies in MNCH, FP/RH, eMTCT, and cervical cancer screening and referral services, to ensure quality and sustainable programming
  • Work with Strategic Information Assistants to design and implement plans to track data/results related MNCH, FP/RH, eMTCT, and cervical cancer screening and referral services
  • Participates and makes presentations in monthly Data review meetings at Hub level and in quarterly regional data review meetings
