• To undertake routine maintenance, servicing and updating of electrical systems and appliances to standards required by IEE on occupied and void properties (interior and exterior). This includes removal, making good and installation of fixed wired smoke detectors.
• Install new or modified electrical installations consistent with local and national codes.
• Plan electrical installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring.
• Prepare and present sketches showing location of wiring and equipment.
• Follow diagrams, blueprints and interrupt specifications.
