- Operating and maintaining auxiliary equipment, such as fuel separators, pumps, compressors, boilers, heaters and filters to supply clean water, oil fuel, lubricants, compressed air to engines
- Perform routine maintenance on four stroke HFO engines
- Participate actively in planned and preventive maintenance activities
- Monitor and inspect power plant equipment and operating parameters to detect any plant defects
- Open and close valves, breakers, and switches in sequence upon signals from colleagues, in order to start or shut down auxiliary units and powerhouse equipment systematically
- Overseeing plant operation, monitoring alarms and communicating for relevant actions from control room
- Monitoring availability of utilities such as water, steam, compressed air pressure
- Replenish electrolyte in batteries and oil in voltage transformers and reset tripped electric relays
- Perform daily plant inspection
- Take readings from energy meters and prepare excel reports on energy consumption
- Receive calls from NCC for communication on dispatch and communicate to team and coordinate accordingly and deliver timely power dispatch
