Ensuring compliance with Compulsory Standards, regulatory requirements and organisational policies and procedures by inspecting, testing and evaluating products, processes and systems. responsibilities include:

1. Conducting inspections to ensure compliance with Compulsory Standards, regulations and organisational policies.

2. Collecting samples of products for laboratory analysis to check for conformity to Standard specifications, regulations and general industry requirements.

3. Identifying and documenting non-compliances and working closely with companies in frequent follow ups to ensure effective implementation of corrective actions to improve compliance levels.

4. Conducting audits of Quality Management Systems of registered companies to ascertain their levels of conformity to the requirements of ISO 9001 and other regulatory conditions.

5. Conducting Open Market Surveillances and other enforcement activities to provide assurance of compliance levels of products in the open market,and, where necessary, take appropriate remedial action.

6. Participating and leading in the development and implementation of standards, regulations, policies and guidelines to provide guidance in the operation of regulated entities.
