- As heavy equipment repair technician trained to repair, maintain and service earthmoving machinery and attended to all field break downs on machines in operations on and off site.
- At PRIDEGEM MINING I have so far worked on the following machines: LIEBHERR EXCAVATORS 924 and R9100, LIEBHERR P764 & P766, BELL ARTICULATED DUMP TRUCKS B45D, B40E, B50E, KOBELCO SK 850 LC, CATERPILLAR ARTICULATED DUMP TRUCKS 740B, 740GC, CAT EXCAVATORS 336, 349, 374D, 390F AND 395, CAT D10T, CAT GRADERS 14M, 140H AND 160K, HITACHI EX 1200, SEM 655D LOADER, KOMASTU D65EX dozer.
- Done a preventive inspections and maintenance of articulated dump trucks B40D, B40E and B50E.
- Replaced the front differential unit on B50E.
- Done a 4000 hrs service on the B50E series trucks with Bell group.
- Removal and installation of stabiliser bars on the B50E.
- Overhaul and installation of the engine OM 502 LA on B45D dump truck.
- Overhaul and installation of the transmission box on the B45D dump truck.
- Fitted alternator, AC compressor and timing belt on the B45D dump truck.
- Decoupling and Coupling the engine to the transmission box.
- Turbocharger removal and installation on the B45D engine OM 502 LA.
- Done a removal and installation of U-stabiliser bar.
- Done a 750 hrs service on B45D dump truck.
- Done a 500 hrs service on a B50E series dump trucks.
- Done a removal and installation of front differential unit on B45D articulated dump truck.
- Done a removal of rear differential unit on B50E.
- Done a troubleshooting of suspected freewheeling stator on B50E Allison 4800 ORS transmission stator due to extreme low stall speed.
- Done a troubleshooting of suspected stuck stator on B45E due to high out control temperatures.
- Troubleshooted the transmission overheating problem on the B40D articulated dump truck due to clogged transmission cooler pack.
- Removal and installation of the park brake to middle axle drive shaft and adjustment on B40D.
- Removal and installation of the front axle to drop box drive shaft on the B40E and B50E series.
- Diagnosed reverse and forward jam on B40E and B50E series.
- Diagnosed and repaired hydraulic tipping system failure on B40D.
