A seasoned gender and legal professional with over 10 years of experience in both local and international organizations implementing rights-based and gender-transformative approach initiatives for individuals, communities and organizations focusing on gender based violence(GBV), sexual violence, ending child marriage, assess to justice, gender equality and mainstreaming, juvenile justice and legal advice, research, women and children's rights, human rights, youth empowerment and meaningful youth participation and young women's leadership development and, climate justice.

A specialist in gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response, gender equality and gender mainstreaming, prevention and response to sexual exploitation and abuse, protection of women, children and other individuals and safeguarding with proven ability and skills to develop trainings, and strategies; deliver trainings on GBV, gender and gender equality, gender transformative approaches, child protection, safeguarding, case management, psychosocial response, and sexual reproductive health and reproductive rights.

Has also designed and implemented HIV programs, worked with orphans and vulnerable children including street children and children in conflict with the law and has been part of processes of organizational capacity assessment and development.

Has worked as a consultant, trainer, facilitator, and rapporteur for renowned organizations such as the Non-Governmental Gender Coordinating Council (NGOCC), Praekelt Foundation, The Carter Center, Equality Now! Ipas, the Human Sciences Research Council and Network of African National Human Rights Institutions.

Those who have been trained include CSOs, policymakers, traditional and religious leaders, children, and young people.

Also has board experience and currently serves as chairperson on two boards including the CSO Network on Ending Child Marriage in Zambia and vice chairperson on 1 board.

  • Conducting monitoring and support visits to 32 community health groups in particular 20 Youth Friendly Facilities (YFC) and 12 Neighborhood Health Committees (NHCs) in Lusaka, Zimba, Kalomo. Namwala, Livingstone, Mazabuka, Kazungula, Choma, Monze, Gwembe, Sinazongwe and Siavonga
