  • Working as a radiographer at Gwembe district hospital and perform the following duties: Plan and monitor and evaluate antenatal ultrasound scanning services
  • Participate and undertake quality improvement projects for the institution Undertake general x-ray procedures of patients referred to the department, ensure safe practice is adhered to, explain and assure patients of safety during the procedure
  • Coordinating work schedules, planning and budgeting activities
  • Generate weekly reports on the departmental performance and draw an action plan
  • Communicate to management on the functional performance of departmental equipments

01.2019 - 01.2021
  • Worked as radiographer at ZAMBART for a Tuberculosis prevalence (TB) survey; TB Reduction through Expanded Antiretroviral Therapy and TB Screening (TREATS) Project in which the following duties were executed: Ensure and verify participants’ details and that s/he have passed through the required stations before chest x-ray was done
  • Referring participants to the next station after chest x-ray was done with references to the artificial intelligence system score generated
  • Collaborate with Data/IT personnel for transmission of x-ray images and retrieval of CAD4TB scores
  • Reporting any malfunctioning of the x-ray equipment to the team leader
  • Ensure the x-ray machine and other accessories are secured and safe before moving the mobile radiology department
  • Participating in the setting of the mobile field site

  • Worked and participated in the provision of imaging services during mobile outreaches in western province of Zambia
  • Provide technical support to peri-urban district hospitals in western province
