Reporting directly to the Inspector - Data Quality Office (DQO) , the job holder will be responsible for managing taxpayer accounts through timely processing of Legacy tax returns, assessments, Waivers and payments including managing taxpayers Tax Account Reconciliations of all tax types.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Processing all Legacy tax returns, assessments, waivers and payments for all Taxpayers;
• Processing all Legacy tax refunds and offsets for all Taxpayers;
• Resolving all data errors on the reconciliation Environment as approved by management;
• Conducting tax reconciliations of allocated taxpayer accounts;
• Implementing strategies which ensure that taxpayers’ Legacy accounts are accurate and up to date;
• Preparing weekly and monthly Productivity standards performance and other management reports;
• Implementing risk management in all work processes; and
• Implementing the PMDS in accordance with HR guidelines.
Reporting directly to the Senior Inspector - Data Quality Office (DQO), the job holder will be responsible for managing a team of Assistant inspectors/Revenue officers responsible for Tax Accounting & Reconciliation of all tax types.

Reporting directly to the Inspector- Data Quality Office (DQO), the job holder will be responsible for enhancing taxpayer compliance by analyzing and reconciling tax accounts and have them agreed with taxpayers by signing an agreement letter.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identifying missing returns and payments and post to taxpayers’ accounts via a Journal Voucher (JV);
• Reallocating payments to correct periods;
• Liaising with treasury over omitted payments on taxpayers’ accounts;
• Posting legacy payments onto Tax Online;
• Uploading TARPS Statements onto Tax Online after reconciliation; and
• Preparing weekly reports on accounts reconciled and submitting them to the supervisor.
