Madalitso Mbewe

As a Regional Program Intern for Zambian and Zimbabwe for the Opportunity for Employment (OYE+) program aimed at improving the livelihoods and increase incomes through empowerment of business skills and knowledge for establishment of businesses and employment(At least 50% woman) in green jobs , agri-food systems an energy.

My duties and responsibilities include supporting the Regional hub by assisting the regional program manager on a day-to-day basis with co-ordination l documentation , event planning, communication & project deliverables, collations with project partners & engaging with stakeholders.

• Support the documentation , sharing and dissemination of project learning & results
• Support database management, research , and communication initives under guidance of the Regional Knowledge Advisor
• Support planning and co-ordination of key events and activities
• Convene (or facilitate secretariat) stakeholder knowledge & training institutions , private sector companies and civil society
• Assist with other duties as necessary

As a Member of the National Youth Task Team ( Volunteer) I Worked for the African Youth Partnership project by Restless Development Organization and Youth Opportunity and transformation (YOTA) which aimed to advocate for an equitable social economical recovery from global COVID-19 pandemic by formulating youth. Inclusive COVID-19 recovery policy actions

• Strengthened communication skills through regular interactions with stakeholders engagement
• Engaged in conducting youth-led research and effective data collection, data entry and analyses research data
• Engaged in planned campaigns to. Amplify voices of young people in COVID-19 recovery efforts
• Explored accountability gaps in socio-economic COVID-19 recovery efforts and produce policy brief to facilitate youth advocacy in Zambia
• Used strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions for challenging situations.
• Gained extensive knowledge in data entry, analysis and reporting.
• Participated in team projects, demonstrating ability to work collaboratively and effectively.
• Gained strong leadership skills by managing projects from start to finish.

As a data collector for the National AIDS Spending Assessment (NASA) was a comprehensive and systematic resource tracking data collection and research method that described the financial flow , actual disbursements and expenditures for HIV/AIDS activities in government, NGOs, Civil Society, private sectors

My Duties and responsibilities included.

• Data Collection for National Aids Spending Assessment (NASA) 2022
• Data Collection and entry to Measure and track resources of national response to HIV/AIDS in Zambia
• Get information from Government , NGOs , CSOs , Private sector on how much are contributing towards HIV/AIDS programs in Zambia
• Followed data entry protocols, rules and regulations.
• Developed and implemented data entry operations.
• Conducted audits of existing data entry processes.
• Compared transcribed data with source document to detect and correct errors.

My duties and responsibilities included .As a junior Associate for the 2022 youth to work program(Future makers)

Collected data business information for the business and assessed it for recommendation on improving the business placed to work for.

Conduct an in-depth audit in a specific business area

Develop action plan based on recommendations from audit

Help the staff team in the department assigned to work with on daily office work

• Identified customer needs and wants to enhance customer experiences and boost sales.
• Generated sales reports and presentations for senior management.
