Education Development Centre (EDC) - Survey Lead:

September, 2022: Evaluated the percent of learners targeted for USG assistance who had the appropriate variety of reading materials in the language of instruction with inclusive representation of diverse population.

Objectives:

• To understand barriers that parents and community members face in supporting their children’s reading
• To identify feasible strategies for reinforcing community support for literacy

March, 2021: Listenership Survey

Objectives:

• To evaluate the reach and engagement of teachers with two radio programs “Tips for Teachers” and “Folktales” broadcast in the period September through December 2020.
• To evaluate the reach, the survey asked questions about teacher awareness of these two programs, their listenership frequency,
• barriers to listening, as well as listenership preferences.
• To evaluate teacher engagement with these two radio programs, the survey asked questions about the teachers’ listenership behavior, engagement with the content of the programs, as well as barriers to engagement.

Objectives:

• To inform digital app (Let’s Measure) and platform development, deployment, and usage;
• To improve the assessment administration procedures;
